
2 Bulldogs earn Scholar All-American honors
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast placed two members of its men's team on the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Scholar All-American Team.
Jordan Hall, a sophomore from Manchester, England, earned First Team honors with a 3.7 GPA in kinesiology. The forward finished tied for third in the country with 29 goals, earning NJCAA and USC All-American honors.
Windham Whatley, a sophomore from Florence, earned Second Team honors with a 3.5 GPA in kinesiology. The defensive midfielder was a two-year captain for the Bulldogs.
Scholar All-Americans must have a 3.30 GPA throughout their career, start more than 50 percent of all games and significantly contribute to their team, and be nominated by their coach.
