MGCCC men finish ranked 19th

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will finish the 2020 season 19th in the country in the Oracle/ITA NJCAA Division I Men's National Team Rankings, which were put out this week.

The Bulldogs finished the year 9-1 and were the second-highest ranked MACJC school. Their only loss of the season came to No. 15 Jones, but the two teams didn't have their regular-season rematch.

Gulf Coast was ranked seventh in ITA Region III.

The Bulldogs' Serban Bonchis (Fr., Mihai Eminescu National College/Oradea, Romania) finished 25th in the Region III singles rankings, and the team of Seth Macute (Fr., St Joseph's Nudgee College/Brisbane, Australia) and Wes Fontaine were 10th in doubles.
