
MGCCC men’s tennis starts Jan. 31
PERKINSTON — When last we left the Bulldogs, Mississippi Gulf Coast was the top finisher among MACJC teams at the NJCAA Division I Tennis Tournament. They'll be back on the court for their first dual match Jan. 31 at Copiah-Lincoln.
The Bulldogs finished tied for 18th at the national tourney and went undefeated during the MACJC regular season. Coach Gary Bourgeois' team has its opening home match Feb. 1 against Holmes, the first of 11 dates at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The MACJC/NJCAA Region 23 Tournament will be played in Tupelo this year April 10-13. The national championship is May 13-17 in Tucson, Ariz.
