Bulldogs roll on

Three matches into the 2019 season, the Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis team still hasn't dropped a singles or doubles match. The Bulldogs continued rolling Friday with a 9-0 victory at Coastal Alabama.

Wesley Fontaine (Fr., Biloxi/Biloxi) and Clint Verrett (Fr., Gulfport/Gulfport) won their No. 3 doubles match without dropping a game. Patrick Roth (Fr., Pascagoula/Resurrection) won his No. 3 singles match 6-0, 6-0.

Austin Vos (So., Perth Australia/Applecross), Evan Chubb (So., Biloxi/St. Patrick), Fontaine and Roth won two matches each.

Gulf Coast returns to action Tuesday when Hinds visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex. First serves are at 2 p.m.
