Bulldogs demolish Wolves 9-0

Mississippi Gulf Coast obliterated Copiah-Lincoln 9-0 in women's soccer action on Tuesday in Wesson. 

The Bulldogs (3-3, 2-1 MACCC South) got four goals and an assist by Alyssa Palisi (Fr., Diamondhead/Hancock), and Katie Brown (Fr., Picayune/Home School) had three assists and a goal.

Ashley Preston (So., Wiggins/Stone) scored twice, with Danica Lotter (Fr., Johannesburg, South Africa/Jeppe High School for Girls) picking up another. Co-Lin scored an own goal.

Landu Mprioteli (Fr., Stuttgart Germany/Robert Bosch Schule), Brianna Lee (Fr., Perkinston/Stone), Molly Etchells (Fr., Manchester England/Longdendale) and Leah Bennett (Fr., Cape Town South Africa/Mondeor) also picked up assists.

Gulf Coast returns to Perkinston for its next game. The Bulldogs entertain Southwest Mississippi on Friday at 5 p.m.
