MGCCC lands 3 on Women’s All-MACCC team

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast had two players named to the All-MACCC South Women's Soccer First Team, and another to the Second Team. The league announced the squads today.

Alyssa Palisi (Fr., Diamondhead/Hancock) and Katie Brown (Fr., Picayune/Home School) were part of the 14-person First Team. Olivia Palisi (Fr., Diamondhead/Hancock) was on the Second Team.

Brown's nine assists were second-most in the MACCC, and she also had eight goals, which tied her for fifth. Alyssa Palisi finished fourth in the league with 11 goals while also picking up five assists.

Olivia Palisi was a rock in the middle of the Bulldogs backline as a central defender. She helped the Bulldogs finish with the fourth-lowest goals-against average in the conference.
