Women’s Soccer heads west for playoffs
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast kicks off the NJCAA Gulf District Tournament against a familiar and nearby foe.
The Bulldogs will make the short trip to Poplarville on Saturday to play No. 10 Pearl River in the quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.

Gulf Coast beat the Wildcats 3-1 on Oct. 11 in a regular-season MACCC matchup. The Bulldogs (9-4-1, 6-4-1 MACCC) finished sixth in the conference, while Pearl River (10-3-2, 8-2-1) earned the third seed.
