MGCCC sets new record with 88 NJCAA All-Academic recipients

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast set a new school record with 88 student-athletes earning NJCAA All-Academic Awards. That's six more than in 2022, the previous best.

Gulf Coast tied for 16th in the country and had the second-most among MACCC schools.

There were 23 Bulldogs named to the First Team, requiring a perfect 4.0 GPA. Gulf Coast had 28 on the Second Team (3.80-3.99) and 37 on the Third Team (3.60-3.79).
