Spring Meet The Teams will take place Jan. 15

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's spring Meet The Teams event will take place Jan. 15 at Dantzler Arena.

The event will start at 6 p.m. and the Bulldogs' golf, baseball, softball, tennis and eSports teams will be introduced.

The Perkinston Campus bookstore will be open until 6:30 for fans to stop by and pick up gear, and they'll have a pop-up store at Dantzler.

Coach Brad Thornton's golf team won the NJCAA championship in the spring and were firing on all cylinders in their fall schedule. The Bulldogs open the spring season riding a four-event win streak and travel to Melbourne, Fla., for the Titan Winter Invitational, which starts Feb. 3.

New head coach Zach Allen's baseball Bulldogs will open their season at Ken "Curly" Farris Field on Jan. 25 when Florida Post-Grad visits.

Coach David Kuhn's softball team gets started Jan. 28 with an Alabama road trip to play Reid State. Their first home appearance will be Feb. 6 against Coastal Alabama-South.

Coach Sam Blackburn led the men's and women's tennis teams back to the national tournament in 2024. The Bulldogs will play at the University of New Orleans on Jan. 29 in the first matches of the season, and they'll be at home two days later against Dillard University.

Coach Courtland Johnson's eSports team went 19-17 in the fall, and they'll be back in action this spring.
