Barry named Bulldog of the Week
PERKINSTON — Jabbari Barry has been named Bulldog of the Week for Jan. 6-12.
Barry, a sophomore guard from Lake Charles, La., averaged 18.5 points while shooting 50 percent from the 3-point line during a 2-0 week for Gulf Coast. He had 12 points in an 87-57 win over Louisiana Knights on Tuesday, then exploded for 25 points in an 85-83 win at Baton Rouge in a return to his home state. He finished with a double-double in that game, grabbing 10 rebounds
