Williams, Parker named MGCCC Student-Athletes of the Week
PERKINSTON — Keiara Williams and Zach Parker have been named MGCCC Student-Athletes of the Week for Nov. 7-13.
Keiara Williams, a freshman from New Orleans' Warren Easton High School, had 12 points and 11 rebounds in the Lady Bulldogs' 59-57 win at Bishop State.
Zach Parker, a sophomore guard from Biloxi, averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2 assists as Gulf Coast split a pair of games last week. He poured in 31 points on 12-of-15 shooting and 5-of-7 from the 3-point line against Bishop State. Parker is shooting 68.4 percent from behind the arc this season.
