No. 21 Lady Bulldogs swamp Holmes
PERKINSTON — No. 21 Mississippi Gulf Coast won every match for the sixth straight time Friday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 9-3 overall, 7-1 MACJC after beating Holmes 9-0.
Paulina Estrada (So, San Luis, Mexico/Colegio Del Bosque), Katie Burrall (So, Hernando/Hernando), Jasmine Sartin (So, Biloxi/Biloxi) and Jenna Lyons (Fr, Pascagoula/Pascagoula) didn't drop a game during their singles matches.
Gulf Coast lost only three games in their six singles matches, and only four in the three doubles matches.
The Lady Bulldogs return to action Saturday when Itawamba visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex. Matches begin at 11 a.m.
