PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast football coach Jack Wright will host the MGCCC QB Passing Academy on March 30.

Wright mentored Gardner Minshew, who finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy balloting this year, and Chance Lovertich, his current quarterback at Gulf Coast, finished as the NJCAA's most efficient passer last season.

The camp, which will be held at historic A.L. May Memorial Stadium, starts at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $50 and there's a limit of 20 participants.

Quarterbacks should bring cleats, tennis shoes or slides, workout clothes and a current physical. They will get a T-shirt, lunch and Powerade.
