No. 8 Bulldogs beaten by No. 18 GMC

PERKINSTON — No. 8 Mississippi Gulf Coast surrendered four goals after halftime to lose its first home game of the fall, losing 4-0 to No. 18 Georgia Military at Bary Thrash Field. 

Gulf Coast (0-2) played a fairly even first 45 minutes before GMC opened the scoring in the 54th minute. GMC scored in the 59th, 68th and 89th minutes to put it away.

It was the first game of the season for Georgia Military.

The Bulldogs return to action Sept. 3 at Itawamba. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Fulton. The next home game will be Sept. 17.
