PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast can get back to .500 overall and in MACCC men's basketball competition when Southwest Mississippi visits Thursday.

  • MGCCC won its first road game of the season Monday, beating Northwest Mississippi 84-65 in Senatobia. Donovan Sanders (So., Walls/Lake Cormorant) had 20 points, and Jabarie Robinson (Fr., Raymond/Raymond) added 18 off the bench in his return from injury.
  • Southwest lost 72-64 on Monday at Meridian to snap a four-game win streak.

Previous Meeting

On Feb. 10, 2022, Southwest beat the shot clock in the final seconds to make a 3-pointer and win 74-71 at Summit. Lee Flenor had 23 points and 12 rebounds for Gulf Coast.
