No. 14 Bulldogs sprint past Holmes
PERKINSTON — No. 14 Mississippi Gulf Coast rested its top three players and still needed just a tick under 90 minutes to dispatch Holmes in MACCC men's tennis action Thursday.
The Bulldogs won 9-0 at the MGCCC Tennis Complex, dropping only one game all afternoon.
"It was awesome to get some guys in there who haven't seen quite as much action," Gulf Coast coach Sam Blackburn said. "It shows our depth and that everybody can play. Anything we can happen, so we have the team that can face any adversity that comes our way."
Gulf Coast leaves Sunday for a big Texas swing to face some top NJCAA competition. The Bulldogs will play against Tyler on the Apaches' home court, then face Collin County and Cowley County there to next two days.
