No. 15 Bulldogs lose at No. 2 Tyler
The No. 15 Mississippi Gulf Coast men's tennis team headed to Texas this week to sharpen its game against top opponents. It started Monday with the first of three matches against top-five opponents where the Bulldogs lost 9-0 to No. 2 Tyler on its home courts.
Paul Gayk (So., Muelheim an der Ruhr, Germany/Berufskolleg Lehnerstrasse) and Owen Stice (Fr., Atlanta, Ga./Laurel Springs) picked up three games in their No. 1 doubles.
Anderson Dulaney (So., Long Beach/Long Beach) battled to a 6-2, 6-1 loss at No. 3 singles.
Gulf Coast will take on No. 5 Collin County on Tuesday. First serves are set for 3 p.m.
