No. 16 Lady Bulldog tennis wins 9-0

PERKINSTON — No. 16 Mississippi Gulf Coast wiped out Holmes 9-0 in women's tennis action Thursday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.

The Lady Bulldogs got two wins on the courts each from Bianca Buie (So, Baia Mare, Romania/Gheorghe Sincai National High School) and Margarita Lopareva (Fr, Moscow, Russia/School No. 1101).

Holmes dressed only four players, so Gulf Coast won a doubles match and two singles matches by forfeit.

Gulf Coast (8-2, 5-1 MACJC) continues a busy week Friday with the third of four matches on consecutive days. The Lady Bulldogs entertain Itawamba with the first serve at 1 p.m.
