PERKINSTON – No. 22 Mississippi Gulf Coast has enjoyed most of the season atop the MACJC South Division.
A pair of losses last week has the Bulldogs (14-3) in a pack of three 5-3 teams in the division tied for third, behind East Central and Jones at 6-2.
The two-game losing streak happened on the road, and Gulf Coast faces Meridian on Monday at the Weathers/Wentzell Center trying to get back to winning ways.
Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
The Eagles (5-12, 1-7) have lost three straight and nine of their last 10. They are led by Ken'Darrius Hamilton with 14.5 points per game.
Gulf Coast is being led by Davion Cole-Johnson, who is scoring 19.1 points a game. Anfernee Hampton is adding 14.9 points and Deshawn Jones 14.1.
The Bulldogs continue a two-game homestand Thursday when East Central visits. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
