Smart, Williams named MGCCC Student-Athletes of the Week
PERKINSTON — Harvey Smart and Keiara Williams have been named MGCCC Student-Athletes of the Week for Jan. 2-8.
Smart, a sophomore guard from West Harrison, had 20 points and 6 rebounds in Mississippi Gulf Coast's only game of the week, a 102-81 win over Delgado. He shot 7-of-9 from the floor and made all 5 free-throw attempts.
Williams, a freshman forward from New Orleans, had a double-double in Mississippi Gulf Coast's 70-48 win over Delgado. She finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
