Sims, Green named MGCCC Student-Athletes of the Week

PERKINSTON — Eanna Sims and Qua'darius Green have been named MGCCC Student-Athletes of the Week for Jan. 15-21.

Sims, a sophomore forward from Jackson, had a double-double and averaged 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in a pair of games. She had 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in a 74-67 loss to Meridian and had 12 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists in a 73-54 loss at East Central.

Qua'darius Green, a sophomore forward from McComb, averaged 15.0 points and 6.5 rebounds as Gulf Coast split a pair of games last week. He had 20 points and 6 rebounds in a 73-60 loss to Meridian and had 10 points and 7 rebounds in a 90-85 win at East Central.
