No. 12 Bulldogs beat No. 20 Co-Lin 9-0

No. 12 Mississippi Gulf Coast remained perfect on the women's tennis season Friday by sweeping No. 20 Copiah-Lincoln 9-0 in Wesson.

The Bulldogs improved to 7-0 overall and 6-0 in the conference ahead of their biggest match of the regular season. They entertain No. 10 Jones on Tuesday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex. First serves are set for 2 p.m.

Gulf Coast won all three doubles matches 8-2 to set the tone against the Wolves (3-4, 3-3)

Isona Arnaus (Fr., Barcelona, Spain/Centre Lopez Vicuna) didn't drop a game at No. 3 singles, and Valeria Callejo-Vivar won her No. 2 match 6-1, 6-1.

Karla Bethea (So., Edwards/Homeschool) battled back from dropping the first set to win her No. 6 singles match in a third-set tiebreaker.
