Bulldogs nab 22 on National Signing Day
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast coach Jack Wright added 22 new players who inked letters of intent Wednesday on National Signing Day.
The Bulldogs have won the MACCC South a school-record five straight seasons. They build on that streak after reloading with another stellar class.
"It's a very strong class from top to bottom," Wright said. "We signed some good size. We signed some very large, long DBs. All of our defensive linemen are big and thick and have a chance to grow even bigger. It's a very strong offensive line class. We signed six of those guys, and we're very high on all six of them. We signed three really good receivers. The guys we really went after, and the guys who really liked Gulf Coast, we feel like we closed on them."
