Women’s Soccer looks for 3rd straight win

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast plays the first of this week's two non-conference women's soccer matches Tuesday when Southwest Mississippi visits Bary Thrash Field.

Kickoff is set for 5 p.m., and tickets are available at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets. The game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.

The Bulldogs have won their last two matches. Gulf Coast is 8-0-2 in the last 10 meetings against Southwest dating back to 2018.

Last Time Out

  • MGCCC beat Pensacola State 2-0 on the road last Tuesday. Kyla Smith (Fr., Hurley/East Central) scored both goals for the Bulldogs.
  • Southwest lost 1-0 to No. 10 Pearl River in a non-conference match in Summit.

Previous Meeting

On Oct. 25, 2022, Gulf Coast got its first MACCC win in the final game of the year, beating the Bears 2-1 in Perkinston. Alyssa Palisi scored both goals for the Bulldogs.
