Women’s Soccer to celebrate 9 sophomores

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will celebrate Sophomore Night on Friday when East Mississippi visits Bary Thrash Field.

Kickoff at Perk is scheduled for 5 p.m., with Sophomore Night ceremonies taking place between games. Tickets are available at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets, and the game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.

Nine Bulldogs will be saluted: Tiffany Beasley (So., Ocean Springs/Ocean Springs), A'Leigh Coleman (So., Ocean Springs/Ocean Springs), Lainey Cunningham (So., Wiggins/Stone), Kayla Dobson (So., Petal/Petal), Mariana Gonzalez (So., Cartago, Costa Rica/Colegio Calasanz), Ann Elise Hester (So., Hattiesburg/Presbyterian Christian), Valentina Marin (So., Bogota, Colombia/Colegio Madre Matilde), Kylie McNair (So., Sumrall/Sumrall) and Morgan Pickering (So., Wiggins/Stone).

  • EMCC: 0-9-1/0-6 MACCC, T-10th place in conference

Last Time Out

  • MGCCC lost 3-1 to No. 1 Holmes at Perk on Tuesday. Kyla Smith (Fr., Hurley/East Central) had the goal for the Bulldogs.
  • EMCC lost 19-0 to No. 3 Northwest in Senatobia on Tuesday.
