MGCCC Women fall to No. 3 NWCC

Mississippi Gulf Coast battled No. 3 Northwest Mississippi tooth and nail Tuesday in Senatobia, but the Rangers were able to break a halftime deadlock to win 4-0.

The Bulldogs held high-scoring NWCC without a goal in the first 45 minutes, and they were able to generate some chance.

Mental fatigue helped do them in after the break.

Gulf Coast is now 5-3-1 overall, 1-2-1 MACCC. The Bulldogs travel to Decatur on Friday to play East Central. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.

Northwest is 11-0, 4-0.
