Ross grabs All-Region 23 spot
PERKINSTON — Already named one of the top four defenders in the MACCC, Mississippi Gulf Coast's Neave Ross has grabbed another postseason award.
The freshman from Whitley Bay, England, has been named to the All-NJCAA Region 23 team for a fantastic first season.
She helped the Bulldogs finish with a 1.49 goals-against average and registered one assist.
The Bulldogs finished with four shutouts and had six other games allowing just one goal. The team finished 10-6-1, the first time reaching double-digit wins since 2016. The lost 1-0 to Pearl River in the conference quarterfinals, their first trip to the postseason since spring 2021.
Ross will now be under consideration for NJCAA All-American honors.
