Lady Bulldogs tennis split two matches

Mississippi Gulf Coast's women's tennis team split a pair of matches Saturday in Meridian. The Lady Bulldogs fell 7-2 in MACJC play to Meridian, but rebounded to sweep Marion Military 9-0.

Against Meridian, the No. 1 doubles team of Paulina Estrada and Katie Robinson won, and Estrada got the other victory in No. 1 singles.

Estrada teamed with Karah Younger to win No. 1 singles against Marion, with Jasmine Sartin and Lexi Johnson winning at No. 2. Estrada won No. 1 singles again, with Younger winning No. 2, Jasmine Sartin winning at No. 3 and Lexie Johnson winning at No. 4. The other matches were defaults.
