Lady Bulldogs sweep Co-Lin

Mississippi Gulf Coast blanked Copiah-Lincoln 9-0 on Wednesday at Wesson, improving to 7-6.

The Lady Bulldogs dropped only four games in sweeping the doubles matches. Paulina Estrada and Karah Younger won their No. 1 doubles match 8-1, with Lexi Johnson and Jasmine Sartin winning 8-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Abigail Smith and Anna Stevison lost only one game at No. 3 doubles.

Gulf Coast returns to action Monday when Meridian visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex. First serve is at 2 p.m.

The Lady Bulldogs play Faulkner on April 13 in their last match of the regular season. The MACJC/Region 23 Tournament will be played April 20-23 in Perkinston.
