MGCCC women finish fifth at state tourney

PERKINSTON – The Mississippi Gulf Coast women will finish fifth in the MACJC/Region 23 Tournament, being held this week at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.

 

The top three teams advance to the national championships.

 

The Lady Bulldogs had three singles players eliminated in the semifinals: No. 1 Paulina Estrada, No. 2 Jasmine Sartin and No. 4 Lexi Johnson.

 

In doubles action, Estrada and Karah Younger lost in No. 1 doubles, and Sartin and Johnson lost in No. 2 doubles.
