Women’s tennis falls at Itawamba

Mississippi Gulf Coast narrowly lost a women's tennis match 5-4 to Itawamba on Wednesday in Fulton.

Gulf Coast got a No. 1 doubles win from Paulina Estrada and Karah Younger, and they won their respective No. 1 and No. 3 singles matches. Abigail Smith picked up her second win in as many matches since joining the squad from the Lady Bulldogs soccer team.

The Lady Bulldogs are 2-3 in MACJC play. They return to action Monday when Faulkner State visits the MGCCC Tennis Complex in Perkinston.
