Bulldogs #9 in JCGridiron.com Pre-Season Poll

PERKINSTON---Although the calender says it's early July, football season has begun at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Right now the 2014 Bulldogs are going through pre-season conditioning and weight training with a little more than 50 days left until the season opener Aug. 28 against Northeast.

The pre-season news and predictions are also in full swing, with Gulf Coast coming in ranked #9 in the JCGridiron.com "Dirty 30" poll. Four Bulldog sophomores, Jason Smith, Tony Bridges, Martinas Rankin, and Justin Evans are all ranked in the yahoo.com JUCO Top 50 prospect rankings.

Gulf Coast went 8-2 in 2013 and went to the post-season for the 7th straight year.
