Gore named MACCC Keeper of the Week
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Isaiah Gore backstopped a perfect week for the Bulldogs to help them clinch the MACCC South title.
That earned him the conference Keeper of the Week award, the MACCC announced Tuesday.
Gore, a sophomore from Laurel, stopped five of six shots in No. 7 Mississippi Gulf Coast's 2-1 win over No. 11 Pearl River to clinch the South title. He also split time in a 3-0 shutout at Southwest.
It's his second MACCC award of the season, making him eligible again for NJCAA weekly honors.
