Inchima gets USC All-American nod
PERKINSTON — Christian Inchima can add All-American to his Mississippi Gulf Coast resume.
The Bulldogs sophomore was named to the United Soccer Coaches Junior College Men's All-American Team on Thursday. The 25-person squad across all three NJCAA divisions was released Thursday.
Inchima led Gulf Coast to the MACCC South title, and the Bulldogs finished 11-3.
Inchima, a forward from Brampton, Ontario, tied for the league lead with 10 goals. He added two assists.
He scored all three goals in a shutout win at Southwest Mississippi, and he had consecutive two-goal games in a 5-1 victory over Southwest and a 2-0 win at Pearl River earlier in the season.
Inchima earned All-MACCC honors for the second season in a row, and he was also the leading vote-getter on the All-NJCAA Region 23 squad.
