No. 13 MGCCC dominates No. 24 SMCC

PERKINSTON — No. 13 Mississippi Gulf Coast swept to a 9-0 win over No. 24 Southwest Mississippi on Friday at the MGCCC Tennis Complex.

The Bulldogs dominated the afternoon, starting by losing only seven games in three doubles matches.

Moritz Stroebel (Fr., Metzingen, Germany/Theodor-Heuss-Schule Reutlingen), Ryland Buford (Fr., Gulfport/Gulfport) and Jordan Mitchell (Fr., Natchez/Natchez) each won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0.

Gulf Coast improved to 9-1 overall, 8-1 in MACCC play.

The Bulldogs will be off next week for spring break and will return to action April 1 when East Central visits Perk.
