MGCCC travels to Co-Lin

Mississippi Gulf Coast heads to Wesson on Monday hoping to get its first MACJC win of 2016.

 

It will be a challenge, with Copiah-Lincoln waiting. The Lady Wolves are 13-2 overall, 4-2 MACJC South.

 

Tipoff is at 6 p.m.

 

Gulf Coast is 9-6, with a 1-5 record heading into the last game of the first round of division play. The Lady Bulldogs are led by Markeisha Watson (13.9 points, 5.3 rebounds per game) and Kailin Young (9.5 ppg, 5.4 rpg).

 

Co-Lin has Kelley Allen (13.8 ppg) and Tytiana Hall (13.2 ppg) leading four scores averaging double figures. Allen grabs 9.3 rebounds per game.

 

Gulf Coast travels to Ellisville on Thursday to play Jones and returns to action in Perkinston on Feb. 1 when Meridian visits.
