Watson named to All-MACJC South team
PERKINSTON – Mississippi Gulf Coast sophomore guard Markeisha Watson was named to the All-MACJC South Division Second Team by the state's coaches.
The 5-foot-9 sophomore shooting guard from Pascagoula averaged 14.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game.
"I'm proud for her," Gulf Coast coach Jason Conner said. "She's deserving. I just hope she can continue with the work ethic, and can continue to grow and mature. I know she'll be successful at the next level.
