Bulldogs tune up for stretch run

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast plays its last two non-division games before the final round of MACJC South games kicks off next week.

The Bulldogs have some ground to make up in the standings to make the playoffs, and games Friday at East Central and Saturday at Perkinston against Angelina College.

Kickoff in Decatur will be at 4 p.m.

Neither of Gulf Coast's games this weekend will be streamed.

  • MGCCC: 3-6
  • East Central: 2-7


Last Time Out

  • MGCCC lost 4-1 at LSU Eunice on Saturday.
  • East Central gave up nine goals in the final 23 minutes and lost 14-3 to Jones.

Previous Meeting

Gulf Coast beat East Central 8-3 in the first round of the 2015 MACJC playoffs. Juan Salazar had a hat trick, and James Beattie and Jordan Parron had two goals each.
