MGCCC explodes for late goals

It took a while to get the first goal, but once Mississippi Gulf Coast did, they started pouring in. The Bulldogs scored all their goals in the final seventeen minutes of a 4-0 win at East Central.

C.J. Smith (So., Brampton Ontario/David Suzuki Secondary School) scored one and assisted on another, and Matt Roberts (Fr., Portsmouth England/Portsmouth Grammar School) had two assists.

Smith kicked things off in the 73rd minute with help from Roberts before Chris Pasvantis (So., Ocean Springs/Ocean Springs) was set up by Smith seven minutes later.

Oscar Loya Loya (So., Horn Lake/Horn Lake) assisted on a goal by Griffin Bush (Fr., Pearl/Pearl) in the 82nd minute. Dante Dismuke (Fr., St. Martin/St. Martin) was set up by Roberts with two minutes left for the final goal.

Gulf Coast returns to action Saturday when Angelina College visits Bary Thrash Field. Kickoff in Perkinston is set for 5 p.m.
