Pasvantis, Smith, Davis will play in All-Star Game

PERKINSTON — Three Mississippi Gulf Coast players were selected to play in the MACJC Men's All-Star Soccer Game scheduled for Saturday in Ridgeland, but the game has been cancelled because of poor field conditions.

 

Central defender Chris Pasvantis (So., Ocean Springs/Ocean Springs), forward C.J. Smith (So., Brampton Ontario/David Suzuki Secondary School) and forward Tylor Davis (So., Gulfport/West Harrison) were selected to play in the game, and Bulldogs coach Chris Handy was to have been in charge on the sideline.

 

Pasvantis started all 14 games for the Bulldogs and grabbed a goal and an assist. He played in 16 games as a freshman and had two assists.

 

Smith started 13 games this year and scored 10 goals while assisting on seven others. As a freshman, he had six goals and six assists.

 

Davis started 13 games this year and had four goals and five assists. As a freshman in 2016, he had two goals and two assists in 13 games. He sat out 2017 with an injury.
