Jobe named to NJCAA All-Tournament Team
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's Nygel Jobe was named to the All-Tournament Team at the NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship last week in Huntsville, Ala.
The sophomore from Brandon played his usual vital role in midfield for the Bulldogs. Gulf Coast lost its first game 2-1 to Pellissippi State, then rallied from a two-goal deficit to force overtime against top-seeded Pima. The Bulldogs lost 3-2 in the first extra session.
Head coach Chris Handy's team also received the Sportsmanship Award. In both trips to the national tournament, his teams have claimed that award.
