No. 5 Bulldogs kick off conference play

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast opens MACCC play Tuesday when East Central makes the trip down to Bary Thrash Field.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Buy your tickets ahead of time to save money. It costs $7 for adults or $5 for youth online, or $10 and $7 at the gate. Tickets are available at http://mgcccbulldogs.com/tickets, and the game will be streamed at https://mgcccbulldogs.com/watch.

Despite losing their only game last week, the Bulldogs moved up one spot in the NJCAA rankings. Gulf Coast is now ranked fifth.

On Sept. 2, Gulf Coast beat East Central 3-0 in Decatur in a non-conference matchup. Neko Worthy (Fr., St. Martin/St. Martin), Victor Moerck (So., Vaerlose, Denmark/Lyngby Handelsgymnasium) and Dorian Robinson (Fr., Biloxi/Biloxi) scored, and David Ruiz Ospina (So., Manizales, Colombia/Gimnasio del Pacifico) had four saves in the shutout.
