Buckley, Barry named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Tytiana Buckley and Jabbari Barry have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Nov. 13-19.
Buckley, a sophomore guard from Meridian, averaged 13.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in a 1-1 week for Gulf Coast. She had 19 points in a 64-50 win over Bishop State in the Bulldog Invitational.
Barry, a freshman guard from Lake Charles, La., averaged 24.7 points in three games in Florida for Gulf Coast. He had 28 against Pensacola State, 30 against Chipola, and 18 against Gulf Coast State. Against Chipola, he shot 10-of-18 from the 3-point line and shot 52.5 percent from the arc for the week.
