Buckley, Barry named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Tytiana Buckley and Jabbari Barry have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Jan. 15-21.
Buckley, a sophomore guard from Meridian, had a double-double to lead Gulf Coast to an 80-51 win over Copiah-Lincoln to open MACCC play. She scored 16 points on 60-perecent shooting from the field and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Barry, a freshman guard from Lake Charles, La., had 19 points in a 75-71 loss to Copiah-Lincoln to open MACCC play. He shot 50 percent from the field and made 5 of 9 from behind the arc.
