Robinson, Evans named Bulldogs of the Week
PERKINSTON — Jabarie Robinson and Je'Mya Evans have been named Bulldogs of the Week for Jan. 8-14.
Robinson, a sophomore guard from Raymond, scored 21 points in 20 minutes during a 104-83 over the University of Mobile JV. Robinson made 8 of 12 shots from the field, including 3-of-5 from behind the arc. He added three assists, three steals and a block.
Evans, a sophomore forward from Gulfport, dominated in a 77-55 win over Southwest Mississippi, narrowly missing a double-double in just 17 minutes of action. She scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds, shooting 12-of-16 from the field. She also had three assists, a steal and a block.
