Spivery, Moorer named All-MACJC South
PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast's LaRaymond Spivery and DaJuan Moorer have been named to the All-MACJC South Team after outstanding sophomore seasons.
Spivery, a point guard from Lucedale, earned First Team honors after averaging 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.5 steals. He led Gulf Coast to its first 20-win season since 2012. The Bulldogs finished 20-6 and advanced to the semifinals of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament.
Moorer, a forward from Pensacola, Fla., earned Second Team honors after lead Gulf Coast by scoring 11.5 points and grabbing 8.2 rebounds per game. He also had 1.3 steals and 1.6 assists.
