MGCCC travels to No. 4 PRCC
PERKINSTON — The top spot in the MACJC South will be up for grabs Tuesday when Mississippi Gulf Coast makes the 26-mile trip to Poplarville.
The Bulldogs take on No. 4 Pearl River at 7:30 p.m. The game will be streamed at https://www.prccmedia.com/.
Both teams sport perfect records, and they have the top two scoring defenses in the country.

Last Time Out
- MGCCC stayed perfect with a 63-61 win at Meridian on Thursday. D'yasmond Booker had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs.
- PRCCC beat Hinds 96-58 in Poplarville on Thursday. Tae Hardy had 20 points.
Previous Meeting
Gulf Coast won its sixth straight game by beating Pearl River 65-62 at Poplarville on Feb. 14, 2019. Willie Logan led the Bulldogs with 18 points.

- Gulf Coast is shooting 39.0 percent from the 3-point line, tops in the MACJC and 16th in NJCAA Division I.
- The Bulldogs allow just 59.2 points per game, second-best in the country, just a couple points behind leader PRCC.
- D'yasmond Booker (Fr., Pascagoula/Pascagoula) leads the MACJC with 9.3 rebounds per game. He's tied for seventh in the country at 4.1 offensive boards.
