Harrison named MGCCC Student-Athlete of the Week
PERKINSTON — Aaron Harrison has been named MGCCC Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 25-Dec. 1.
Harrison, a freshman guard from Philadelphia, Pa., came off the bench and provided instant offense and defense for Mississippi Gulf Coast in a 2-0 week. He averaged 13.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals despite playing an average of just 13.5 minutes per game. He had 15 points and three steals in an 89-42 win over Blessed IJN Prep in 13 minutes, and 12 points, three rebounds and five steals in 14 minutes of a 62-60 win over Southern-Shreveport.
