Meet The Teams set for Aug. 21

PERKINSTON — Mississippi Gulf Coast will hold its 2019 Meet The Teams night Aug. 21 at the Weathers-Wentzell Center on the Perkinston Campus.

The free event starts at 6 p.m. and will include performances by the Bulldog Cheerleaders, Band of Gold and the Perkettes.

Football coach Jack Wright will introduce his coaching staff as well as the 2019 Bulldogs squad. His team is coming off a 7-2 season in his first year that saw them fall just short of the playoffs.

Women's soccer coach Jackie Rhodes is entering her fifth season in charge of the Bulldogs, who finished as MACJC runners-up last year. She will introduce her staff and team, which went 7-7-2 and finished second in the South Division.

Men's soccer coach Chris Handy is starting his seventh year running the program. The Bulldogs squad will be introduced, looking to rebound from a 5-9-1 season.
