Redmond wins MGCCC Student-Athlete of the Week
PERKINSTON — James Redmond has been named MGCCC Student-Athlete of the Week for Aug. 19-25.
James Redmond, a freshman forward from Bremen, Germany, exploded onto the MGCCC scene Thursday when he scored four times and had two assists in the Bulldogs' 7-2 win over East Central.
Also nominated:
Isaiah Gore, a freshman keeper from Laurel, made a series of splendid saves to help force overtime in a 1-0 loss to LSU Eunice. He had a 1.15 goals-against average for the week and picked up the win against East Central.
